The Groon Eldergrain began construction as the Siren M, a new mortar headd of the Siren series originally built for the Fillmore Empire in the late JC 2800's. However, development was halted and it was replaced by the Siren N (Neptune) and Siren O (Prominence). Mortar Headd Meight Rowmiran Xbin (pronounced "Crossbin") eventually left Fillmore and continued to develop the Groon along with Colus' Berlin. As such, Xbin became the sole meight for the Groon whereas other Sirens have multiple meights. He named it after the king of Hartland and features
a skull face that is a signature characteristic of Xbin masterpiece mortar headds. It is worth noting that the Phantom - another mortar headd with Fillmore roots (built years later) - also sports a skull face even though it was not built with any input from Xbin.
The Siren series is one of the premier mortar headds of the Joker galaxy, the Siren F specifically being revered in the same light as the Atoll and the Bangdoll. The Siren N (Neptune) and Siren O (Prominence) are two of the most powerful mortar headds of the Siren fleet. The Groon (formerly named Siren M) shares about 70% of the same parts as Vatshu (The Black Knight), the famous mortar headd built by Rowmiran Xbin that dominated the battlefield for nearly 1,000 years. Thus, Groon, Vatshu, Neptune and Prominence are all very similar.
