  • Description and History

The Bebop began service life as an interplanetary trawler, built to catch fish on Ganymede then transport the refrigerated cargo throughout the solar system. Jet purchased the ship after he left the ISSP (Inter-Solar System Police). Some might view it as a cozy home while others nothing more than a piece of junk. Many parts of the ship remain unexplored by its crew.

The Bebop has been retrofitted with a new high-powered communications system and larger engines to better aid in the occupation of its bounty hunter operators. The ship has become home base for all of Jet and Spike's exploits. It is a large vessel and the crew generally reside in the stern, as the remainder of the ship consists mostly of cargo holds and refrigeration units.

As a vessel built for civilian use, the Bebop lacks any armament since converting it to mount weaponry would be prohibitively expensive.
