Description and History

Taxicabs aboard the SDF-1 Macross functioned much the same as the typical vehicles for hire which operated on Earth. As a form of public transport these taxicabs were used by many residents of the SDF-1 Macross during Space War 1. Typically capable of comfortably seating up to six people including the driver, this model of taxicab has been known to accomodate many more passengers in times of crisis.

Note: Included within this profile is a small series of alternate color schemes using the palettes from real taxicab companies in my own country. In keeping with the Macross franchise tradition of drawing inspiration from actual existing companies, the names for these fictional companies have been created using modified titles taken from the real counterpart.
