The Sigur Berrentzs is an ancient relic of the Stellar Republic, the civilization that was created by the Protoculture (whose species is considered the first sentient race to evolve in the universe). Windermereans uncovered the massive craft and eventually utilized this protoculture flagship in an attempt to conquer the Brisingr Globular Cluster in 2067.
Note: The Sigur Berrentzs (シグル・バレンス) shares a similar naming heritage with the Fulbtzs-Berrentzs (フルブス・バレンス), the Mothership Class vessel of the Zentradi Army appearing in the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross TV series. Thanks go out to Louis Sun on the Macross Delta Facebook group.
