Variant VF-19S "Test Flight" Notes Debut: Macross 7, Episode 20 Description: As the VF-19 Excalibur entered into mass production the latest UN Forces fighter began deployment all across the UNG colonies and the fleets. Prior to introduction of the VF-19 for general assignment, test flights would be conducted for newly built variable fighters featuring special test hull colors. The VF-19S Test Flight variable fighter was the first Excalibur to be flown from the Macross 7 by Lt. Docker. Soon Lt. Docker would be assigned as commander of the VF-19 flight group Emerald Force and fly a VF-19S in mass production blue and gold hull colors.
