Commanding a large fleet that outnumbered the Battle 7 fleet 500 to 1, Commander Chlore lead her Meltrandi forces in combat against the U.N. Spacy in early 2046. This so called "Fleet Of The Strongest Women" featured their own unique hull colors on both ships and mecha, of which two variants of the Queadluun-Rau (Film Version) appeared. The first Queadluun-Rau variants in dark blue were utilized by the majority of the female Meltrandi pilots of the fleet. The second Queadluun-Rau variant appeared in gold and orange hull colors, belonging to Chlore herself. Chlore was known as a highly skilled Zentradi ace pilot and easily outmatched the pilots of Sound Force, disabling Nekki Basara's VF-19 fighter during her initial sortie against the Macross 7 fleet. Milia Fallyna knew well of Chlore and the two had competed against the other for kills during Milia's years in the Zentradi military.
NOTE: The Meltran fleet was described in dialog as outnumbering the Macross 7 fleet 500 to 1. In 2008, the Macross Chronicle Issue 5 at last published the fleet count of the 37th long-distance colonization fleet, which totaled 194 large ships and 2,689 small craft. At a 500 to 1 ratio, this places Chlore's Meltran fleet at 97,000 warships and 1,344,500 combat vehicles.
